So a lot of people will post poems, thoughts, ideas, and opinions on their blogs. Since I don't really do that here is where I'm going to post all that stuff. :) Well I got nominated by Nicole! (her blog is awesome ask to become a follower, reader, I dunno!)

So her questions were:
My Questions:

1. How do you choose what book you are going to read?
I will get a recommendation or go on good reads or barnes and noble and just search up topics that interest me or are related to books I like. If I don't like those books related to ones I like I look at books related to those on a sort of trail. usually I will come up with something. If all else fails I go to the library and look for interesting covers.

2. Is there a type of character personality that you really hate? If so, what is it and why?
I don't think that there was a book I have read all the way through with a character I hated. In some level I got to connect with that character so it was hard to fully hate them. I would have to say though the characters that I really don't like tend to be a lot like me, or they tend to be more real. Just because real people with all their flaws and perfections are much easier to hate.

3. Do you prefer to read books that are part of series or individual novels? Why?

It depends on what I want. If I'm looking for something I can read long term then I will get a series, but often times if a book looks like something I would enjoy it doesn't matter if it is in a series unless it is not the first book.

4. Is there a book that you feel a lot of people like but you absolutely hate it? If so, what is the book and why do you not like it? Or maybe the opposite, there's a book you like that others hate?

I had one recommendation for The Steward, if that counts. I dropped the book because I didn't really like the main character or the way the plot was going.

5. Do you have a favorite writer and if so, who is it and why?

No. I will read fiction, fantasy, and sometimes sci fi. It is hard to have a favorite author through all those genres.

6; What elements will there be in an ideal book?

I think that that depends upon the author. And one of my main pet peeves is when two books are alike. Even if they are written around the same time or couldn't possibly be based of one another it still irks me. so I apologize to that second book.

7. What is one of the most unpredictable books you've read?

I think Cruel Beauty. It wasn't that it had an unpredictable end, but it did have an unpredictable middle.

8. Who is your favorite main character and why?

oooh that's a hard one uhmmmm. Jesca from House of Slate in Icarus by J.S. Chancellor. I loved the way she had faults and was ready to believe the worst of herself, while she wasn't shy about what she could do. She was a perfect main character without being....a perfect person because she was a Vampire. I thought it would be a bad vampire book I was reading but it was much better. Making my second favorite character Aubrey from the book Thief of Nightshade also by J.S. Chancellor.

9. Do you like to read spoilers before/while you're reading a book or do you prefer to find out what happens through simply reading a book?  Why?

Sometimes I will read spoilers, but mostly I want to find out for myself. Honestly through some parts of the better books that I have written that author has really tempted me to skip over parts and read ahead.

10.What is a book you struggled to finish, if there was one? And why?

I have dropped a lot of books recently trying to find a good one, but probably Texas by J.A.M. there were just parts that were blatantly not interesting to me and didn't' make much sense. They interrupted the plot line and were annoying.

So here are my questions:

Have you ever read a book where you didn't like the beginning or the end but did like the middle?

If you had to pick one Bravery or Cowardice which would you pick and why (in a supporting character)?

Do you have a villain you felt was very well written and why?

Do you have any instance where you would want an unplanned sequel to a book?

Do you tend to like the ends of series or the ends of books more?

Do you have a genre that you dislike particularly?

If you were to have one which would you have a biography or an autobiography and why?

What do you think is essential in a chapter?

Have you ever dropped a book that you later wished you had read?

Do you like hardcover or paperback books better?
