What's Wrong With 5 Minutes?

the girl thought for a moment, irritated at how this was turning out; frowning her brows furrowed; her eyes remained fixed on the computer screen. what was the point, she was already in pretty deep, but still. Staring at it she typed some more, and then deleted what she had typed, still annoyed with the words on the screen. She wondered if she should flag it; the little cursor hovered over the button, and her finger hovered over the button she would need to select it. Then she retracted her finger, she was in pretty deep already, what was the harm? Shrugging her shoulders she began typing and shaking her head in this, she couldn't do this, but the problem was - her character totally could. Her character could totally do this, she could absolutely do this with this person, but still she couldn't. She almost felt a disconnection. Her character and her...they weren't the same, but wasn't that the point, here she could be whoever she wanted to be. The lack of face was comforting, but now as she stared towards a faceless character who she could no longer continue with it felt rather, not scary. Pausing she glanced around, wondering if anyone was watching her, probably just paranoia. Anyway her mind focused back to the matter at hand, and then she posted, a nice little ooc post that couldn't be taken the wrong way and wondered what would happen, not that it mattered, the character was dead, funny how people you thought you knew could just get up and die so easily.

That post above you was 264 words, and took 5 minutes to write.

It's amazing what you will find on the internet, and regardless where you are the place can be a little bit scary. This is a little story (I guess) about a girl who had been on a forum, and was now conversing with someone who she hadn't met before, and needless to say it got a little scary.
